Cole-Munro adheres to Canadian Food Inspection Agency (CIFA) Quality Management Standards and is HACCP certified. We also are globally certified by Safe Quality Food (SQF). Additionally, our farms have achieved the Global Aquaculture Alliance Best Aquaculture Practices (BAP) certification to proudly offer high quality product to our valued customers.

Product Quality

Our freshwater rainbow trout is raised and harvested in Ontario, but you can find our fish in grocery stores across North America. Our location infers fresh product upon delivery and our methods ensure it. We’ve spent years building our vertically integrated processing and delivery system to provide the freshest possible fish for your store.

Currently, we’re the only company in the province focused solely on trout. When you purchase our products, you support local farmers employed by a local business.

Trout Nutrition

Rainbow trout is one of the most nutritious proteins to serve your family. Our trout is low in sodium and calories, yet extremely high in vitamins and minerals, as well as omega 3 and omega 6.

You can expect this health value from all trout raised and farmed responsibly, regardless of farm versus wild capture fish.
